Malibu’s Sixth Annual International
Festival of One-Act Plays
To be performed at The Malibu Stage Company
Two Weekends of OCT 2008
• BACKGROUND: St. Aidan's Better Entertainment League (SABEL) will join once again with Malibu's high profile talent of renowned directors of theater, television and motion pictures, combined with actors from all over Los Angeles to produce a community-wide project involving many local churches.
• CRITERIA: Plays may be grounded in any religion, so long as they conform to our premise: spiritual or moral tales told in an original and entertaining way. Keep it simple; at most 15 pages, limit characters to 1 to 4 speaking parts, no scene changes, minimum stage & limited props.
• DEADLINE: July 15, 2008. Late plays will be held over for reading for the next festival. Maximum two plays per entrant. Submit an 8 1/2 x 11 hard copy in play format to:

• INCLUDE: details (if any) of previous performance and, if possible, an email address. Plays cannot have been performed on the West Coast of the US.

•FINAL: Acceptance or rejection by Sept 1, 2008. Author retains all rights.
