PlayMakers "Shorts" Festival calls for Plays
PlayMakers Theatre Group^ is Connecitcut Playwrights to submit a 10 Minute play for a stage reading for their "Shorts" Festival held on June 12, 2009 at the Thornton Wilder Auditorium, Hamden, CT.
10 minute running time or less. The title page should contain: The playwright’s name, address, email and phone number; Standard play format. Winners notified by May 7, '09. Good Luck!
Deadline: May 1, 2009 midnight. Send to: merryplaymakers@gmail.com or mail to: “Shorts,” 70 Ojibwa Trl, Shelton, CT 06484. Students attending colleges in CT are eligible.
We are a fun but bare bones group (little or no props) and ask you to keep that in mind when considering your stage requirements. We also ask that you try to keep your cast to a minimum of 4-5 characters or less if possible. Submission Limit: 2.
