Hi everyone,
Male 45, GSOH, interests – writing, theatre, good food and good company wishes to meet forum to explore mutual critiquing potential
I was surfing around in do-anything-except-writing mode and discovered this forum. It looks like exactly what I need – the chance to get inspired by reading/analysing the work of others and to put my own stuff out there for some carrot and stick critique.
About me: I am now living in the UK, though I have spent time in the US and Australia in the past. I am a psychologist by training, but a writer by inclination. Having spent the best part of twenty five years toying around with writing/theatre as a hobby, I now have the luxury (thanks to a very supportive partner) of being able to really focus on it for the first time.
So, I humbly introduce myself,

Welcome, Tsaurus. Another member with an enigmatic name (or did you misspell your zodiac sign?).
I've been on this forum for only a week and I can tell you it's great. I got a draft of my play critiqued and am now ready to do another rewrite.
It seemed to me, when I first signed up, that there were mostly Americans on this site, but as I was told and have learned on my own, there are people from all over the world. I also live in Europe (in France at the moment) and found it great that I could connect with so many people from all over.
