Hi everyone!

My name is James Quince. I created a new playwriting showcase called 'Dramatic Shorts'.

You may ask "What is Dramatic Shorts?".

Well, Dramatic Shorts is a theatrical writing platform showcasing new work from various playwrights, ranging from "aspiring" to "established". The platform created by James Quince, and published by 'Andrews UK Limited', allows writers wishing to publish their work for the theatre can do so, to get their talent recognized and seen by many people, from the general public to theatres and industry professionals.

'Dramatic Shorts' comes in the forms of a physical book copy and an e-book. The book contains various amounts and varieties of monologues, duologues and short plays by different writers in many different styles, lengths, genres and subject matters.

In case of any interest, Dramatic Shorts is on social media sites:
Follow us on Twitter: @DramaticShorts
Like us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/DramaticShorts

If you're a writer who either wishes to get involved or wants to know more, you can email dramaticshortsplatform@gmail.com

Thanks everyone! :)

From your webpage -

"The rights of all pieces submitted by you are still 100% yours in terms of copyright. And you will receive payment from the individuals and companies publically performing your work."

We need this explicit clarification

Good luck with your project

In light of that particular wording not being very clear, I have adjusted the webpage information slightly to make it more clear.

However, I'm happy to explain on here as well.

When writers submit pieces (either monologues, duologues and/or short plays) to Dramatic Shorts, the writers will still have 100% copyright of their own work - and rightly so. The Dramatic Shorts trademark (or "brand") is, of course, mine in copyright but the pieces themselves belong to the writers who wrote them.

If any individual or theatre organisation wishes to publicly produce and perform the work from the volumes, then the writers will get 100% of the fee required to have their work performed.

I hope this all helps.

Thank you for the clarification. Appreciated. I would very much like to see your written contract. I may have some good stuff for you.

Most importantly: Folks here would like to know what is in the contract they may be signing.
