Has anyone seen this production of "Othello?"
If I lived in the area I'd be there in a heartbeat.

When a lead jaded (nothing personal, they all get jaded after a while!) NY Times critic can give this kind of intelligent, respectful and glowing review to an American Shakespeare production, that is a big deal.
Just shows to go you, if you do the story truthfully and do it well; don't gussy it up with goofiness, and make sure all the actors are "on the same page" you can create tragic beauty.
Anyone see it in the Northeast?

So we had "The 15 Minute Hamlet" by Tom Stoppard, next door in the park this afternoon, also "fortinbras" by Lee Blessing.
I stole Ophella, Horatio and Queen Gertrude for my reading. Not a bad Sunday afternoon work
