Hey!!! I've just heard that a company has scheduled  one of my plays, The Girl I Left behind Me, for the second  half of their 2010 season. The company is in the process of seeking funding for the production at present and depending on that  will be able to tour it.

They have engaged a first rate director who is interested in the project so all I have to do now is hang out for 12 months to see the girl on stage

nic,

Congratulations.

You have mentioned this play on The Forum before.

Live that long so you can tell us about how it went!

I love the title.

By the way, if it gets released Down Under, go see the movie, "500 Days of Summer." Wonderfully told tale of love.

best,

Thanks

Speaking of titles I've just seen  the Melbourne Theatre Company's production of August:Osage County. Now I have to say that until I saw the play the title made no sense at all. In fact I think it may have been a bit off putting... yes I know it won the Pulitzer etc and I thought the  play and the production memerable. Having seen the play, I understand the title but wonder did it make sense to you in the US?

PS now have to read the script  because there's a lot more there than  you get with just a viewing.

 The best Nic

Congratulations, Nic!

Thanks to Sam Stone and Lost Playwrights of North Carolina for staging BLINK BLINK as a reading.

Much appreciated!

Shirley
