My thanks to all who have been kind enough to send me short plays but I have to say that I'm surprised and alarmed at the number that have arrived without any contact details on the actual script or any indication that the work is copyright.
Fortunately, I don't think I've missed any, I've been able to email the senders and ask for contact details and then add them to the scripts but I doubt if many readers will take that sort of trouble.
Seems a shame to write it, not protect it, and then not tell anyone where it came from.
I know on my part that the script did contain contact info because most teaters specifically request that none be on the script itself. Contact information should only be i the e-mail or in a seperate attachment.
In fact, only you and one other place that receives e-mail submissions has ever wanted the information in the script body.
Thanks for taking a look at the plays -- and for contacting me regarding contact!
