I can't believe it. I'm just in from the play "Our Town" which was performed by the Peterborough Players here in New Hampshire.
I just shook hands with Mr.James Whitmore. He played The Stage manager and was brillant.
I didn't only shake hands with him once but three times. First I shook hands, then I said I can't believe I just shook hands , then he said "Put it here again" then his Pipe was still smoking and I said Oh I love the smell of a Pipe and he asked me was I a smoker and I opened my handbag and he said again "Put it there" and we shook hands again. I can't believe the Theatre in Peterborough. It's celebrating 75 years.
I watched the play "Our Town" in a beautiful old "Barn"
Just amazing.
If anyone comes to New Hampshire you HAVE TO JUST HAVE TO go to see The Peterborough Players Theatre.
Mr.Whitmore (my new best friend) is almost 90 can you believe that?
