Here is a line of dialogue between Lieutenant Flame and Melody in King Fury the Terrible... some of my favorite writing I ever lied down from pen to paper. I hope you consume the love from a bleeding heart.

MELODY

Please, tell me how much you love me.

FLAME

I do, I do love you.

MELODY

Please, please tell me; how much?

FLAME

I love you as much as I should.

(Smiling)

FLAME CONTD

I love you, I-… How do I describe you? Do I speak prose?; or do I speak eloquently?... What are you in this day and age? Do we marvel at marble, sculpted and chiseled into a vahzz by the hands, of man who knew not of laser, yet still optimum precision? How do I describe thhhh-eee? You are not future but an arcayon pass – there!, frozen in the matrix of time in perfection; they search for you: turning stones, dismantling hidden bones, no, but only for an ideal: the search of hidden knowledge… But I have been there; I never came back… I died at my knees at your knees hedged by the hand of god; dust in my lungs at your stone embroiled in time, you, angelic perfection.

MELODY

And you I love too. You moisturize me, bristles to bristles, to, a gaping hole in me. If I am ancient you breathe relevance to me. I will forever remaineD lockeD in your chamber: I need not much I refuse to need much; I am suppressed; I am oppressed. My only desire in your tomb is to give you pleasure upon your skin, upon your mind. My pleasure belongs to no one else…: til the end of the sands of time; til the universe freeze, til the universe collapses… and at that moment let vibrations and sound speak love, then never again.

FLAME

It would be a sin if space knew more.
(FLAME and MELODY exit. BEAUTY stands for a few seconds, rubs a sleeping baby, then exits.)
