Hello! I just signed up and I'm really excited I found this forum because I need to find people to read my play and tell me what I need to fix.

While it still needs a lot of work, it has been selected for a staged reading and the theatre director was supposed to help me get it to the next level but I think he's been busy with other things. I have gone through and revised it and it ended up being about ten pages longer (which I'm not sure is a good thing).

There will probably still be some typos because I'm terrible at finding typos in my own writing (I just read what I meant to put?) but I'm especially looking for suggestions on how to fix stage directions and definitely suggestions on how to sell this play.

tl;dr

I'm not confident in my own writing, right now. I need help to get this play to the next level.

Thank you for any help you give!
