Mana:
 in a white room

in the east

a boy undulates to the ticking

of a clock

he can’t read.

a line

from a film

escapes the lips of the boy

caught by a light

he can’t fathom.

a hole

in the world

of the boy

stilled by the minutes

swallows

the work

of a boy

dreaming of silk routes,

ponds and tufts of reeds

severed

into flutes
by the wind.
