Mana:
She sits in her no name shop
down in Fethard
with her house next door
her son checks in on her

Her eyes are sky blue
her hair silver grey
with a clip to the side
and a beautiful smile

Tourist come by
she tells them stories
of long ago
they sign her
visitors book before they go

Can we take your picture?
they ask her
click, click, click
she smiles again and again
they don't know
she can't see them

This would be a good short play.

Wonderful.

In tone, it reminds me of the brilliant Documentary, "The Irish Pub."

By the way, completely subtitled!!

And, I agree, a good short play. Or Short movie would be even better!

Academy Award Nominee for Best Short Subject.

Best,
