Sojourner

Here within the four walls of my room

In my layer-as the sky emitted her droll,

Immaculate falls of the firmament

Glued me to my layer

The chanting voices from the street

Dragged my feet to peep

I stood I drew the curtain to path

Little fellows casting heaven’s sludge upon themselves

This sludge as pure as itself

Dissolved upon their faces as they fell

And all that stood to see their games

Smoked without smoke…

All hands tucked within their fur coverings

Shivering and smiling to this cold pleasure-freezing

Behind the frosty glass my palm never ceased rubbing

Stiffen to my fingers

I withdrawn to my layer

I sat I stared upon the wall-the wonders of  Picasso
