A friend has pointed out that an american author with the same name as myself has had a book published http://www.amazon.com/tag/david%20muncaster

Now, I write plays and he writes novels but we are pretty much in the same line so there are grounds for confusion here. Are there any laws around this? For example is one of us legally obliged to use a different name?
