What sprung to mind for me was Yvan's description of the preparations for his wedding about two-thirds of the way through Art, Yasmin Reza's play.  I laughed so hard.

The tuna fish monolog from Durang's Laughing Wild is very funny.

If you are looking for an audition piece, tuna fish is one of the most overdone pieces so be careful.
