I'm in rehearsals for a show I wrote and things are going great!  In fact, the cast and crew asked me last night when I was going to write another one!  I didn't really have an answer because I'm just trying to get through this one.  But I asked them what kind of show THEY would like to see written.  I specifically asked, "What kinds of plays do you wish there were more of?"  So I'm asking this same question to everyone here.  What kinds of plays do you wish there were more of?  Here were a few of the answers I got last night:

  • Shows with female-heavy casts
  • Christmas shows that aren't based on Charles Dickens
  • Comedies (in general)

Good ones. Write your best. If you're simply writing for money, to please others, I wish you luck. You might want to consider TV scripts. Otherwise, follow your passion.

Best
