My first was a Mac LC.

I had to be brow-beaten to get it. An old Girlfriend who is now a Technology Co-ordinator at a University stood over me like a 19th Century School Marm, to teach/thrash/shush me into learning how use it. Took a couple of weeks.

I still remember in the early 80's a playwright had the first Apple model in NYC. It glowed in the corner of his apartment and he was so excited. I asked, "Does it make you a better writer?" He said, "No. But it makes the bad writing much easier to get rid of."

But, I am wistful about my Father's old Underwood I grew up with.
