Good evening distinguished members of the Forum,

I've been recently considering sending one of my plays into one of those "new play development" programs, namely that offered by The Lark Play Development Center. (Does anyone know of it?)

I was wondering what all of you think of this idea of sending a play in to be worked on in collaboration with actors, directors, and others involved in the creative process of crafting a play. I've heard both sides of it, such as Albee harshly criticizing the idea, and yet others laud it.

What's your opinion?

Cheers
