Your poems touch me all the time. And instructor once said in one of my classes, "Poetry should remind us of what it is to be human." You always do that.
I gave you the highest compliment: I forwarded this to my wife at work and said "This is written by my friend, timmy, whom I had lunch with him and his son at The Celtic Knot."
She will get it tomorrow upon arrival.

I hate to point out specifics, because to do so would diminish the whole. It is all one but...I'll try:
frying bacon, vanilla, French toast
with maple syrup smothered in butter,
