|I read Turco's entire play while he was working on it on this site a couple/few years ago.
I loved it.
It has a very good and unique humor, but through its humor it leaves one with a very unsettling, frightening and futile feeling that lingers long afterward. I still think about it.
It is a story of a man who is inexorably caught in the unrelenting quicksand of the society surrounding him as he is sucked into a "trial" that gets creepier and creepier and yet he does not even know why he is on trial. Whew!
The more we follow Mr. Um into this dark pit, the scarier it gets because Mr. Um could be any one of us.
Hope you have great success with this Turco!
