Hello all!

I'd been on a bit of a hiatus in playwriting till recently, when I became struck with the idea for a new piece. I've made some preparations to begin writing and I've also been trying to do some work to get the rest of my plays to a wider audience.

In this way, I came upon the New Play Exchange by the National New Play Network. It's a website for playwrights to post their plays in full, with descriptions, synopsis, the works, and attract the attention of theatres and contests who also use the site to look for new works. Playwrights connect to other playwrights like social media and can read others' works and post recommendations to praise other plays.

It's $10/year, an unbeatable price compared to the Dramatists Guild. I'd like to use it as a stepping stone to get more exposure and as a gateway to more opportunities.

Does anyone here use it? If so, I'd like to connect with you.

If you don't use it, what do you think of the idea? Would you subscribe to this site?

Best,
RTurco
