|The submission details are below. I'm challenging all of you who read this, to write and submit a one-minute play to this really cool festival in NYC - UK and now New Zealand.
Get off your bums. It will be fun!
Sign up if you're doing this...I'd like to know if I got anyone interested.
We're excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for Gi60 International One Minute Theatre Festival for 2017 (Gi60 US, Gi60 UK and Gi60 New Zealand). Three different sets of 50 plays are selected to be performed at the three festival sites (Halifax UK, Brooklyn, NY, Christchurch NZ).
All submissions should be forwarded to email@example.com.
Deadline is midnight April 1!
We're looking forward to reading your tiny plays! (and please check out our new publication One Minute Plays: A Practical Guide to Tiny Theatre by Steve Ansell and Rose Burnett Bonczek (Routledge Press). Four chapters on writing, acting, directing one minute theatre, applying it in the classroom and creating your own festival - and a separate anthology of 200 plays from the past 14 years of Gi60.
There is no pay for this, but they upload videos of each play to YouTube, and they're really great.
