Well, now you know about death. The church
is a marvelous thing

at a time like this. It’s at its best.

better than anyone.

his tie to be buried in.

Jackie Kennedy only boarded Air Force One
when assured it was not the same Dallas plane
she had flown in once before.

What a burden of tragedy
this plane carries—

Rafer Johnson and Charles Evers
cried like little babies.
