Nope, hovering the mouse pointer over the icon doesn't bring up the banner. It may be a Firefox problem.
Anyway, I'll figure them out soon enough. I was just looking for a shortcut. Help files are usually long, boring and written in techno-geek. I thought, if you'd already studied the bells and whistles, you might be able to tell us how to ring and blow them.
I think the new site is quite the improvement over the last one. I also like that one has to have a working email address in order to register. That's a step in the right direction. Thank you, Paul. (Had to try out the bold there. Hehe.)
Actually, Paul, the URL function in the old site didn't give as much trouble as did the mailto: tag that got added wherever the software detected the "@" symbol. Every darned word after @ was considered part of the email addy.
I have no problem understanding the boldface, italic, left/centre/right align, numbered, bulleted, etc., icons.
As for the rest, I'll sharpen my pencil and hand it over to the flamers to be inserted where appropriate.
I do miss the branched threading, though. That was one of the best features of the old site.
Am I right in assuming posts are still protected in the robots.txt file?
