Well, I've just about had all I can take of staring at a blank computer screen, so thought I'd reach out across the cybervoid and see if anyone friendly was out there.

Young(ish) playwright in the UK. Just about making ends meet doing what I (mostly) love doing. Working on a couple of different projects, a pitch for a panto, a monologue about madness, a play for children.

I've been busy since I gave up the day job about 1.5 years ago, but I seem to have reached a moment of not being able to tell up from down or arse from elbow with my writing. Anyone else feel like that?

Well, that's me.

Hope you're all well.

Your newest recruit

Rachel

Welcome, Rachel.  LOVE your handle.

Enter this month's contest and maybe you'll win a hardcover copy of Tennessee Williams' last play -- SOMETHING CLOUDY, SOMETHING CLEAR.

You've found the best Play Pen for Playwrights and slaves to Thespis on the net!

Hi Rachel!

Very nice to meetcha' online. It sounds as if you have quite a few things a-brewing play-wise.

Hope we can offer some good "arch" support your way.

Ha Ha. Very good. Glad my online name has prompted some word-play.

I shall be browsing the boards (rather than treading them) shortly!

Best wishes
