How do you go about finding a collaborator for writing a musical?  I can write the necessary musical, and probably the lyrics, but need help writing the story and dialog.

Hi. Let me know the general direction you want to go and your style of lyrics/music/plot and I'll give you some fast feedback. I wrote book/lyrics/music on my 8 full musicals (most in the last 6 years), but want to collaborate . Bob Greeley

Hi Bob

I wrote some school musicals a number of years ago and got so interested in songwriting I decided to have a go at an adult musical, so I wrote the first act of a musical based on a traditional English novel "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" . The musical was selected for the final of The Vivian Ellis Prize, a prestigious competition which used to operate here in the UK but, sadly, is no more.

Being busy, I put the musical on one side and only recently have I had ideas of finishing it. I need to motivate myself in order to get going again on this project and I have ideas for a further musical.

Just out of interest I entered the UK songwriting contest last year with one of the songs from"Tess" and reached the final which was won by An Italian opera aria,so this gave me some confidence . I intend giving more details elsewhere on the website but I found your posting  of interest.
