Hello All,

If you are a beginning playwright, like me, then you may find this collection of articles very useful when revising your play.

http://www.vcu.edu/arts/playwriting/seminar.html

Personally, I feel that when revising my work I need something to only slightly nudge me in the right direction. I need a foundation, something to build on. A new set of "eyes" (or a tool to open them with) . Examples of things that do not work (overly-conclusive dialgue, unnecscesary interjections etc.). This is just me. It may not be you.

NOTE: Playwrighting is not a doctrinary craft. If you think that something sounds right, go with your gut.

And Best of Luck,

RTurco
