Even a dead tree
Falls to earth reluctantly
Shuddering the ground

Thanks, timmy. Yes, I do love haiku. And nature! Am off to the hills momentarily for some "Art &/in Nature," imr.

When I was entering "Fall Haiku" into my haiku notebook, my eye fell on one I wrote some time ago that made me laugh:

Any fox afoot
on this freezing winter night
may eat my chicken

All the best,
kris

A State of Mind

I've never lived there
watching, counting falling stars;
I am restlessness

Very cool, timmy.

A bright school of fish

Swimming in the liquid blue

Above the mountains
