Baseball trip...5 games in 5 days (Cubs, Reds, Cards, Brewers, Sox). Having a blast. Went past champaign location to see Cubbies. Each home team has won so far :)

timmy,

Make my heart ACHE.

Thanks,

IMR

P.S. Went golfing today. Did Okay. Moments of past brilliance. Greened a short par 4 with a very sweet drive. Three putted for par. Putted for two eagles today. Game not all together yet - never totally was - but I see the real possibility of being a better/smarter golfer now and for at least the next few years, if I keep at it, than I was 16 years ago when I totally swore off the game when I was about an 8 handicap...only compared to my "country club" friends who had the actual rating systems. I never had mine compiled. Was a lot of fun today.

Some folks live entire lives
speaking the language
of Narcissus, staring down
into salt water, bathing
in the language of false love

Some folks live entire lives
being a curiosity to others,
conversations sneaking in
like the waves after a ship
wreck, the captain standing
as erect as a mere bed post

Some folks live entire lives
waiting for a sequel
to their entire lives,
live their entire lives
praying for the tenth wave
to pour upon their existence

Is it loneliness

or else?
