Hey all,

So I'm working on one of those right now. I'm having a tough time and I'd appreciate if maybe someone could point me to some examples in famous literature. The thing is, the play's about a group of recently deceased sinners that somehow never made it to Hell. It relies a lot on characterization and internal conflict and there's no visible antagonist. I'm a little frustrated, not a lot. Would help if I could find any examples of this convention in modern playwriting. Thanks.

I've read Sartre's No Exit. A very insightful piece. I thank you for pointing it out.

I have since begun a different version of the play, without the group protagonist convention but still retaining the same characters. Let's see how it'll pan out.
