Yes there are such people, and I'm one of them. I've been coaching playwrights and actors for more than 20 years. My website has information about the specific coaching I do for playwrights. If it looks like what you want/need, you can email me through the website. barbara-kahn dot com.

I think many of us here, me included, are willing to help in any polishing, revisioning, or brainstorming. Just let us know! :P

Hello there, I am taking a look now and already see some suggestions to make. Let me know how you would like me to convey these. I can send you an edited copy of it, but not sure if you want me to edit it, or if you just want general suggestions for your own editing process.

Hi Allan, thank you so much! Do you prefer email?

I should warn that of the dialogue is taken from their correspondence, writing, and historical evidence, but anything outside of the bits that are their own words can be changed.

I don't mind email. You can message me as well on the site.

Just so I know: so most of the dialogue of this play has been taken from real sources? I would recommend not reusing everything word-for-word, if that is what you are saying.

The "real sources" are the characters' own correspondence, recorded speeches so there is no copyright.

It's not most of the dialogue - maybe 5%.
