Mana:
“I see so many trees,
Boughs belaboured with snow.
Limbs about to crack,
In Man there is that which lacks,
But it is found in nature.
One can see the pines, the evergreens,
As they grow.

But it is not in this day,
For everything is dead.
In the clutches of Sir Winter,
Their facades began to splinter.
With the chill upon the morn’
I see their faces, in their eyes the cold,
That fills the heart with dread.

Lo and then I see them!
Branches all a-twisted,
My father, my mother,
My sister, my brother
Each one bound by bark.
Human faces in nature’s pain.
A leaf falls from a stem: a suicide.
Assisted.”
