Mana:
A tree has died, and the tree spirit died with it.

A half-ling mother waits for the tree spirit she has seen all her life.

Of her two daughters one is sickly, the mother administers medicines, but doesn’t realise she is poisoning her.

The unwell daughter’s fairy cousin knocks the poison from her mother’s hand and falls in love with her.

The mother goes out into the forrest in search of her lost love, ties a string to herself and gets lost in the forrest and the daughters follow, not finding her at the end of the string.

An unnatural storm starts and they hide under a tree. The spirit of that tree falls in love with the other daughter…
