Hey there! My friend and I recently started work on the second draft of our movie script, which we're slowly realizing might be better suited for a stage production.
It's a dialogue based script inspired by films like Before Sunrise and Carnage (which is based on a play), focusing on two infatuated teens dealing with their reservations with the other and love in general.
We'd like to get feedback on two things:
* General feedback on everything from dialogue to structure to characters etc.
* comments on how producible the would be as a play. What might need to be changed, what has to go, and what can stay as it is.
Everyone here is a playwright with plays in various states, from produced many times to in-progress. We've been hanging around for a long time.
We have seen many people join, post a play or a link to a play, and expect that everyone will read and give feedback. In my experience, it just doesn't work like that. You have to hang around too. Maybe comment on a few things, a few plays, and then post yours.
Typically, when someone posts right away, we never hear from them again.
