I am a composer and executive producer looking initially for two people
Firstly for someone who either has a book/story for an original musical and is willing to develop/sell it or who can adapt a well known film (rights being secured) into a musical. They must have proven musical theatre experience and be able to to write the book and lyrics.
Secondly a musical arranger with musical theatre experience who can advise on song structure, compose musical interludes and score fantastic songs firstly on piano/guitar and then potentially orchestrate.
Both positions paid. London/UK base an advantage or NYC
This sounds very interesting. I have been working on my first musical, which is almost finished and will go into workshops around August. Other than that I don't have any experience yet. But I'm interested to help, possibly in partnership with another writer.
I have a good deal of experience in musical theatre, having worked as a music director, keyboardist, arranger and composer in regional theatre and the west end.
I would be interested in discovering more about your project if you are still seeking someone.
