We are looking for contemporary playwrights that have work that suits the notice attached to collaborate with us. At the moment position is unpaid.

We are a young group, just graduated and we have an interesting concept that we would like to build on however we need a few writers that would not have issues with their work being played with and manipulated as well as performed in the mix with other writers work.

We are contemporary theatre makers, that like to explore the balance between design and performance... we make a lot of pop culture references, we play with film, paint and anything that fits!

If you are interested message me, send questions, send a sample of your writing...

I think thats all! Thanks!

If you can't open the notice - here is what we are looking for -

The show is a collage of scenes that explore:

1. Sensations
2. Impulses
3. Internal Thoughts/Doings that are taboo or socially unacceptable
4. Outbursts - battling the unconscious mind
5. Moments when you decide to turn right instead of left
6. Fight or Flight
7. Retrospection
8. Internal conflict

These must take place in the everyday, scenes must not fantasize reality, or become a show of heroism. They should be following characters we can relate to or have come across before. In places that we are familiar with such as kitchen counters, bathroom sinks, bedroom pillows, H&M checkout lines, airport terminals, buses that have been stopped to regulate the service…etc.

We are Live Designers, so the writing must offer design solutions and should be open to manipulation.

Scenes we have played with previously come from:
T5 By Simon Stephens
Love & Money By Dennis Kelly
Stealing Sweets and Punching People By Phil Porter
Blink By Phil Porter
Things I Know To Be True By Andrew Bovell
