|Hello everyone, this is actually my second go 'round here at the playwrights forum The first was several years ago, and was cut short due to health issues. I lost accesses to my old e-mail account, and lost the portion memory to wherever my old password was stored. So, I did the only thing I could think of, and started all over. So, hello again. I have been fascinated by plays ever since I could remember, but only recently (Last few years.) did I ever consider trying to write one. Now, it is a near obsession. I have been reading the posts on the forum and I must say that, I am impressed by the talent gathered here. Intimidated, is probably a more accurate word. Unlike most of y'all I am not terribly educated, never made it past the ninth grade, frankly. English was, and is not my strong suit, but I try hard. I would love to hear from anyone and everyone about the art of play writing, or on anything really. I have never actually finished a play yet. The first was one (You Got To Do Something About Your Woman.) I started a few years earlier, but sadly wasn't able to finish before I had to quit. I have received no comments or feedback on it, and I have taken that as a sign that it is a poor piece of work. My second is only a experimental scene, A Dead Pig In The Sunshine. Also, received no feedback, and I made the same assumption as before. My current idea is untitled, and I am still hammering out the first scene. I'm hopping that it meets the high standards here, as I am dying to improve my writing. I know I will never be a true playwright, but I would like to finish a decent one while my candle still burns.
Anyway,Thanks and I hope to see y'all around on the forums.
