She said "she's had it
up to her eyes in it"
COVID this and COVID that

Breathing heavily down the phone
in a deep deep voice, she calls out
"I'm going that's it"

First, it was five kilometers
then they gave twenty
she needed two hundred
where she was going

Painted her nails
washed her hair
makeup on her face
she was taking the train
to Dublin town

Shops were opening
friends to meet
so much to talk about
but there is nowhere to eat

She turned around
sat in her kitchen
put the kettle on
it's safer here
too many people
in Dublin town
