My one act play, TRUE BLUE will be given a staged reading in Boulder on Sunday night, October 29. While I'd love to be there, I have a friend's wedding to attend that weekend.
TRUE BLUE received nice notices from last month's Fritzblitz in San Diego. Here is one from the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Staged reading details:
WHO: The New Twenty-Two Productions
WHEN: Sunday, October 29th
WHERE: Dairy Center for the Arts
2950 Walnut Street, Boulder
TIME: 7:30 P.M.
They are selling tickets at the door $8 for general public and $6 for students/seniors.
Three plays will be read: 5 O'Clock, By Richard Brockman, Suicide Gal, Won't You Come Out Tonight, Come Out Tonight, by Jay Boyer
and TRUE BLUE by Mary Steelsmith (me!).
If anyone can make it to the reading, I'd be most grateful to hear how it went.

The review was terrific, Mary.
I know another who will be on the Boulder bill with you--Jay Boyer who is also a member of this forum.
Boulder is just up the road from here in Denver. Would love to go and report back, but our old '95 Mustang overheats and starts smelling like burning rubber when we go anywhere over 10 miles. I will keep an eye out for any press there might be on it.
What did you write today?

Edd! Thank you so much! I appreciate it. Wish I could be there.
Weddings are nice but this is a PLAY!
