Mana:
She's sitting again
at her kitchen table
alone, not lonely
but alone
with her thoughts
of him long ago

Remembering that time
when she was young
getting ready for
the party at his house
she wore that blue Mary Quant
yellow dress
she borrowed from Deirdre
who was her mod friend

His mother shopped for
two bottles of Babycham
at his request for he
knew it was her favourite

Yes, she's alone but not lonely
memories of him keep her going
