Apologies, as I could not find the previous post on this subject. Heuer has indeed bought Brooklyn Publishers, according to Heuer's letter to authors, effective June 15.

Does anyone know if royalty splits negotiated with the previous company remain the same with the latter?

I would think a contract is a contract and they have to stick to it.

I'm curious to see if they (Heuer) brings their contract up to Dramatists Guild standards...

I have a script in at Brooklyn, and had heard that something was going on, but nobody could confirm WHAT.  Now I know.  I wonder if I'll have to start over with the submission process.  I was dealing with David Burton, who is still working there as an editor.
