I've been perfectly happy with a bunch of 65 or 70 minute intermissionless full-length plays - and have not felt cheated at all by the length. I have also not returned after a 70 minute first act that seemed bloated and dull and found that I'd rather have a beer than return for another hour of slow-moving angst. For those overlong plays I have felt ill-used because my time and money were ill-spent. So there you go. Too short is always preferable to too long in my book. --kato
