After struggling for years with addiction and the street life, grandma and grandpa-- once known as the Bonnie & Clyde of the Hood, managed to escape the lure of the streets and have been clean and in recovery for decades. Sadly, their transformation didn't occur before the streets took hold of their kids. With four generations under one roof; this family is entrenched in all the negative activities the streets are known for. Grandma, who is the matriarch of the family, has assumed the responsibility of all her grandkids, who are now young adults. With one son dead, another in jail, and a daughter in a rehabilitation center she is determined not to let her grandkids follow in their families destructive footsteps. After eight years in prison, her son comes home, and after 6 months in rehab so does her daughter- both with a change of heart and a mission to right their wrongs with their children. Collectively they guide their next generation back onto the right path.

With its powerful message combining comedy, amazing singing, and thought-provoking dialogue, this stage production will take the audience on an emotional journey aimed at changing and touching lives, giving hope where none or very little exist, and to force the audience to take stock in the endless possibilities that reside in our tomorrows.
