Wow. I've been away so long that I'm trying to remember how the forum works. Just been...busy.

So, for the many folks that probably don't know me, I'm a playwright based in Portland, Oregon; I've been at it for almost 25 years now. I used to be the AD for Pavement Productions (Pavement called it quits in 2008), and I've had a fair amount of work done around the country.

I'm posting because, after a long spell, I finally got around to changing my website. My old site, SPLATworks, had some resources for playwrights. That's gone away, but the new site has much more extensive playwriting resources, along with resources for writers and for theatre folk in general. It's designed to genuinely be of service, with links to active playwrights' blogs, opportunities, organizations, publishers, and so on. So I invite you to check it out if you're curious. (And there's no bucks involved--I'm doing this as a way to sort of "give back" and lend a hand to both established and new writers. The only personal thing I gain from it is a chance to showcase my plays.)

The new site is http://www.splatterverse.com and the playwrights section is: http://splatterverse.com/home-2/resources/playwriting/

I'd love to hear whether the site seems helpful or if folks have suggestions for changes or sites I've missed.

Thanks,

Steve Patterson
