Hi! I am 14 years old and I have decided to write a musical. I do know it takes a lot of time to write, but it's only a hobby on the side for me now. I tried to write books, but I wasn't one-hundred percent strong in just straight up writing, then I decided to write two songs and I loved it. So then I got the idea to write a musical. The love story is pretty complex for me to explain rn, but the problem I'm having is that the scenes are the same place most of the time. Since the characters are high schoolers, more than half of the scenes is at the school. How can I avoid this? Also, I have only 14 characters with about 4 main characters and two "narrators". Does anyone have any tips?

Hello! I know that it has been time since your post, yet I wanted to ask why do you think it is a problem that much of the story is at school? I mean, what do you want to write is important. It's ok in my opinion to be at school as they are students. The point is to build a nice plot, characters and the songs. I hope that your musical is on the way :)
