I have been to another forum but they said it was a screen writers forum. Not sure what that is as they mention BBC Drama. If so...

As a first question I would like to set out the main characters in a plot. This would include Age, basic physique if necessary, husband, wife etc, going on to introduce them. This would explain their Achilles heals, likes failures etc. Not too much but would help the script reader get a good feel of the play. Also a little bit about the location the year and time of year. I have downloaded some BBC like Men behaving badly only the right half of the page is used and some only use the middle third worth 4 words fitting on a line. It does seems a lot of waste of paper.

There is such a huge difference between writing for television and writing for stage. Although there are a few people here that do both, I really don't think this is the best place to flesh out your sitcom.
